It’s official my sister in law, is engaged! I couldn’t be happier. I will be doing the maid of honors at the event in San Diego, California. They are getting married in the San Diego Temple.
We love them. They met a year ago, and it couldn’t be more dreamy and with weather like this today, I hope it comes quickly.
2. This past weekend I went to NYC with Brian, we only had our iPhones so the photos aren’t fab but we are happy to have a few together.
I tried and tested what reviewers ranked as the best Japanese KANSAI style OKONOMIYAKI in NYC ! It is hard to find them like they make them in Nara, Japan! It did not disappoint! This was a true hole in the wall….no seating…3 person max! #cashonly #kansai #okonomiyaki #japan #eastvillage #nyc #tripsandships #datenightwithbri #drapershimai
We did some window shopping and I love this photo because of the reflection of the city in the windows.
Dreamy! #nyc #manhatten #christmastimeinthecity #happyholidays
We went to see Jersey Boys on Broadway.
“Winner of the 2006 Tony Award for Best Musical, Jersey Boys tells the story of how Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons went from being unknown New Jersey kids to international pop superstars. The show features over 30 beautifully sung tunes, including “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry” and “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You.”
The downside of Jersey Boys was the 50 f-bombs in a jersey voice. The music was to die for and a great story though. I need to screen my language at the theater. Wow
Brian and I have been going to the theater since our honeymoon together. It is one of my most favorite dates with him. I love to do that and go walking and New York is perfect for both.
This was a working trip for him, so he had to do that as well. But the drive back and forth, dinner at night at our favorite Japanese restaurant Iroha and walking around the city is the perfect date for me.
I will post a few more photos tomorrow when I get a little more organized today.
