Wow! Does it seem like Christmas is around the corner. With Thanksgiving being so late it just seemed like we have moved right into the Holidays full steam ahead and I haven’t done anything and I don’t care.
Call me Grinch or whatever, but I am the same year after year. I hate the commercialism of Christmas and just wish we could pack up and go on a vacation like we did last year. That was awesome! No gifts, no hassle, no decor….well limited. I love the time together ….I hate the clutter. I have been trying to pull out some old, classic photos of the holidays and rumbled upon this one of Chase and I together. It is one of my favorites!
We had a great Thanksgiving with Hillary home and now she is back at college where the snow has begun to fall. I love this photo as her BYU Provo days are dwindling as this semester is coming to an end and she is headed to London to study….her dream come true.
Here is a quick family photo we ran outside and took after Thanksgiving. It was so frozen and none of us were in photography mood because everyone wanted to get to the gym to go to spinning. I was happy we grabbed at least one shot together. We hooked up the tripod and smiled!
I spent yesterday helping the LDS Mission in New Hampshire become more social media savvy. We have been getting the mission president and his wife up and going more effectively. It was a fun afternoon training them.
And at 4:00am I couldn’t sleep because so many people were in my bed that I decided to revamped our travel agency, TRIPS inc. website of 2014 . (Liz is a violent sleep walker so she is often in our room).
Take a look TRIPS Inc.
We are going to have tons of new, exciting groups to put together and I am investigating the possibility of spreading our humanitarian work into Tanzania, Africa in 2015. That puts a smile on my face!
Ok it is off to the grind and off of my journal today as I have to figure out how to design a Christmas tree based on a humanitarian theme by tomorrow for an event in town. Ugghhhh who signed me up for that?
