Brian and Chase spent the weekend in Utah at the LDS General Conference and at the BYU Football reunions that they hosted. Brian had a chance to see is old coaches, the legendary Lavell Edwards and Tom Ramage.
These coaches were fundamental in molding Brian. We appreciate that!
In addition, many of the players were there as well that he played with it. He was excited to touch base and mingle with people he hadn’t seen since college. We love our college football family!
Chase had the opportunity to kick at the stadium and kicked a couple of “45 yard bombs” that caught the eyes of a couple of BYU players on the field. A couple of current players came over and said that “he needs to be the next kicker at BYU”. I think that small, kind word will carry him for the rest of his high school career. Ha Ha …. He was dying when he called to tell me. If it helps him keep his grades high that is all I care about it. I love that this gives him some vision although it is a hard, long road.
I saw this on Chase’sInstagram account so I grabbed it for his scrapbook.
Brian and Chase also attended the LDS General Conference with my dad and saw the other grandparents as well!
I love this photo of Chase with my soon to be 75 year old father!
I am so happy that Brian is able to spend one on one time with the kids. I really think they make all of the difference in raising children. These experiences provide ots of long talks and experiences that take place during this time.
Here are some more shots from their day on campus which consisted of a reunion, talks from the head coach, tours of the facility etc.
What a great weekend for a little father and son bonding!
