1. I am glad Lance Armstrong confessed on Oprah about his drug dosing.
I can’t imagine the pain and agony he has lived in covering up lie after lie.
I feel bad for those who deserved to win a Tour de France and didn’t.
I feel bad for those he stomped over who tried to tell the truth.
I don’t really care about cycling or even this story per se, but I do care about the moral story that is out there.
Don’t tell lies, you can’t ever run from them, they will always catch you, at some point you will have to face the story.
Hope my kids are reading this!
2. I am on the Radio today…woot woot! Do people still listen to radio…and AM radio to boot?
I am on WSMN Radio 1590AM today as a guest of host, Kevin Willett, talking about our families foundation, Color My World’s efforts in the garbage dump village in Nicaragua this February. My segment will be from 12:07-12:20pm. We are 63.33% of the way to our fund raising goal!
Here is a photo of Kevin- We have never met, but through social network became friends.
You can donate on this page- look right people there is a tab or here at GO FUND ME!
3. Mid- Terms are in full swing and today is my biggest nightmare....The theology class exam. Chase knows his catholic church about as well as they know our mormon church. I hope all of the Catholic saints don’t throw him off and the prayers. Where many of their prayers are memorized, we speak freely when we pray. I am afraid he doesn’t have those all down well.
Otherwise, we have been completely thrilled with his theology teacher and his efforts in learning another religion. It will serve him well in his life.
He attended the Catholic teen night last week for extra credit. Here he is with his teacher who is adorable.
4. I don’t want to admit but I am going to admit, I am caught up in a variety of television shows for the first time in my life. I am not a watcher and if I do it is online and I have never followed a series outside of West Wing in the early 90’s, American Idol with the kids….and a guilt free season of last year’s Bachelorette!
Last year, I became hooked on Downton Abbey and love it.
Hillary has roped me into Biggest Loser which I have cried through two episodes of. It is actually helping my younger kids learn better food choices. They beg me to watch it.
And sadly enough I have reached an all-time low, I am watching the Bachelor with Hillary and LOVE IT!…. but I know that I will have to probably turn it off in a couple of episodes as it probably will not meet my moral standards. I’m hoping it doesn’t get raunch since I really liked the Bachelorette last season that Hillary again, roped me into and Sean that is on this season.
And since my husband travels so much, it takes my mind off the craziness some days. Policy now…must be on treadmill to watch! So far loving my media selections! First step to feeling guilt free about it all!
Hey, don’t judge!
