This weekend…. there were a ton of little moments of simple joy that I caught on my iPhone.
I will share some of them here with you.
None of these shots are too terrific but are a glimpse of my world.
We had unbelievable weather reaching near 60 degrees. Sunsets were in abundance over the weekend. By Sunday the weather had dropped to 40 and this was my view as I pulled out of church. I loved the color it brought me joy!
My dinner rolls deserved a quick moment to remember. They were gobbled up quickly. Watching everyone grab them brought me joy!
I caught this glimpse of my father having a good time listening to the kids. His smile…Joy!
Over 500 hygiene kits showed up after the shipment to NYC during Thanksgiving. We spent a couple of hours organizing those to send off. Helping = Joy!
We ate Japanese food at You You’s my favorite local shop. My parents were in heaven as was I. Joy!
One night I glanced down to see all of my boys checking college football scores online. I don’t know why but this brought me joy!
I looked over at the table and saw my mom playing games with my daughter…this brought me joy!
I captured hugs taking place everywhere.
I needed help in the yard planting bulbs and my dad helped me plant at least 6 bags with a drill bit he bought me to do the job, then we moved on to my suffering garden that only produced $3.00 in food last year because of neglect. For two years, I have been trying to get a grapevine up for my three poor grape plants that produce exactly $1.00 in food, but have potential to produce an abundance. Kent helped me on my little Napa Valley project! Pure Joy!
The little, simple things brought so much joy and happiness to me this week! Pure Joy!
