Yes, indeed, Brian took his new job last fall, in early October. He flew out to Utah for a second interview after a Skype interview and by the end of the day he had taken the job without even discussing it with me.
He didn’t need to discuss it with me, I trusted him 100 percent, we usually work in sync and he felt like it was right and it has been.
Yesterday, he finally closed a deal he has been working on since he got hired it seems.
This job is sort of “Eat what you kill.”
He took a huge risk going with this company. He is over the eastern area of the United States, 21 states to be exact and they had absolutely no business- NADA.
He has been here, there and anywhere trying to make it happen. He has had to build the distributors, the doctors, the reps everything from scratch.
Finally, something came through for him and the look on his face yesterday was priceless.
I am so darn happy for him, because not only did he close that deal but he has two other doctors coming on board at the same time.
This means that this summer is going to crazy for him and crazy for us. It will be like managing the “Perfect Storm.”
Today, I couldn’t be happier and I know he couldn’t be happier.
Oddly enough, with him gone on occasion, we still manage to see him a lot, because when he works from home- he is home.
I am doing better with his schedule and I think after nearly 9 months we/me/the kids are all adjusted and this is working out beautifully.
I live a little bit vicariously through his job because it is so exciting. We talk about it for hours, strategize and encourage.
I am so happy for him today!
And guess what we needed some good news after the load of expenses that came out this week! Hooray for some good news this Thursday!
